Biden said he has always felt a sense of regret for not having been at the bridge that “Bloody Sunday” in 1965.

SELMA, Alabama – Vice President Joe Biden stood at the foot of the Edmund Pettus Bridge today and told a crowd of around 4,000 that as a college student 48 years ago he watched television news coverage of the attack on civil rights marchers attempting to cross the bridge on March 7, 1965.
